Tuition and Fees

An education at The Highlands School is an important investment in your child's future. At The Highlands School, students learn the skills and strategies needed to become successful, independent, confident learners.

Application/Screening Evaluation Fee - $75 non-refundable

Every applicant will be evaluated in phonological processing, decoding, fluency, spelling, comprehension, written language, and math computation.

We present a summary of test results on the date of testing.

Tuition for 2020-2021

GRADES 1-12 – $28,500


​ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT non-refundable after April 1st – $1,500

The enrollment deposit is due with the Tuition and Enrollment Agreement and will be applied toward the annual tuition. The last date for withdrawal without forfeiting the full year’s tuition is July 1st.

Additional fees

  • Field trips
  • After School Homework Program and After School Activities (billed monthly as selected)
  • Bus Transportation as needed from the following stops: Meadowood Regional Park, Cromwell Bridge Road Park & Ride, and White Marsh Mall Payment Options

Payment Plans

Single Payment Plan

Receive a 5% discount on full tuition payment to school before April 13th.

Three Payment Plan

Through FACTS Tuition Management Company, families may elect an interest-free installment program for payment of the balance due after enrollment with 40% due by the beginning of July, 30% due by the beginning of October and the final 30% by the beginning of December.

Monthly Plans

Through the FACTS Tuition Management Company, the 12-month plan begins the beginning of June. The 11-month plan begins the beginning of July. The 10-month plan begins the beginning of August.
