Monetary gifts (cash, check or credit card) are fully tax deductible:
Donate Online: Make a secure credit card or debit card gift.
Donate By Mail: Print and fill out the gift form.
Donate Through United Way: Designate The Highlands School #5833
Matching opportunities offered through an employer often enable individuals to double or triple their original gift. The Development Office is available to assist in the completion of matching gift forms.
Planned Giving - Trust and Bequests
The Highlands Legacy League was established for those who wish to provide for future students through planned giving. Estate planning strategies can be tailored to meet the needs of each donor. Please consult with your tax/investment advisor or contact the Development Office for additional information.
Gift of Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may provide tax savings for donors by avoiding capital gains tax. These gifts are also tax deductible for the fair market value at the time of the donation.
Gifts in Honor or in Memory
Honoring or memorializing a friend or family member is a thoughtful way to recognize him or her. Many people also choose to recognize their loved one's special days, such as birthdays or weddings, in lieu of a traditional gift.

Examples of in-kind gifts include:
Goods: Computers, software, furniture, and office equipment
