Tutoring Program

Tutoring

“I am getting A’s in English now.”
“I love coming to tutoring.”
“No one ever taught me that before. That is so cool.”

These are typical of the comments we hear from our Tutoring Program students.
We believe that every student can benefit from one-on-one teaching that is organized especially for his or her individual learning style and need.

The Highlands School Community Outreach Center offers tutoring for children and adults, ages six and older in the areas of:

  • Language – receptive (auditory processing) and expressive (communication)
  • Reading, spelling, vocabulary, written expression
  • Perceptual-motor integration – (writing/copying tasks)
  • Organization and study skills/Executive Function
  • Math

Monday through Thursday - 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
