Endowment

giftsEstablishing an endowment helps diversify The Highlands School’s income and provides a gift that will keep on giving well into the future. Endowed gifts are but one of the many ways to support the school.

Donors may set up an endowment to fund a specific interest, such as scholarships, facility enhancements, or educational programs. An endowed gift requires that some or all of the principal remain intact in perpetuity, or for a defined period of time or until sufficient assets have been accumulated to achieve a designated purpose. Endowed gifts are usually made as part of a Planned Estate Gift such as through a bequest, proceeds from a life insurance policy, or a charitable remainder trust.
